PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned forest enterprises;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province,

Article 1. Approve the Scheme for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned forest enterprises in the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province as follows:
1. Reorganize the following forest enterprises into Forestry Companies:
- Forest Enterprise Tan Phong;
- Forest Enterprise Phu Loc;
- Forest Enterprise Phong Dien;
- Merge Forest Enterprise Huong Giang (belonging to the Timber Trading Company) into Forest Enterprise Nam Hoa to form the Nam Hoa Forestry Company.
2. Convert the following forest enterprises into Forest Protection Management Boards:
- Forest Enterprise A Luoi;
- Forest Enterprise Huong Thuy (belonging to the Timber Trading Company);
- Consolidate Forest Enterprise Nam Dong (belonging to the Timber Trading Company) and Forest Enterprise Khe Tre into the Forest Protection Management Board of Nam Dong District.
3. Privatize the Timber Trading Company after separating three forest enterprises for reorganization as stipulated in Clause 1 and Clause 2 of this Article.
Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province:
1. Direct the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned forest enterprises as stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision.
2. Adjust the area and boundaries of land allocated to Forestry Companies and Forest Protection Management Boards in accordance with the local forestry development plan and the development plan of each forest enterprise.
Article 3. Ministries: Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and related ministries shall cooperate with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province in implementing this Scheme.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall be responsible for monitoring the implementation of this Decision.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province and heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
