Pursuant to the Ordinance on Product Quality dated December 27, 1990; - Pursuant to the Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Government on the division of responsibilities for state management of product quality;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 22/CP dated May 22, 1993 of the Government stipulating tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment;
Pursuant to the Circular Jointly Issued by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment No. 07/TTLB dated July 1, 1996 guiding the implementation of Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 on the division of responsibilities for state management of product quality;
After consultation with the Ministry of Health;
At the proposal of the Director General of the Standardization, Measurement, and Quality Control Administration;

Article 1. Enacts the "Temporary Regulations on the Management of Quality of Natural Mineral Water in Bottles and Packaged Drinking Water".
Article 2. Organizations and individuals engaged in production, business, and importation of natural mineral water in bottles and packaged drinking water shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
Article 3. The Standardization, Measurement, and Quality Control Administration and relevant state agencies shall organize guidance and inspection of the implementation of this Decision.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from July 1, 1998.
