Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2006/QD-TTg dated March 1, 2006 of the Government approving the "Overall Program on Basic Survey and Management of Marine Resources and Environment until 2010 with Vision to 2020";
Pursuant to Decision No. 889/QD-TTg dated June 22, 2006 of the Government regarding the establishment of the National Steering Committee for Basic Survey of Marine Resources and Environment;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Education and Training are supplemented as members of the National Steering Committee for Basic Survey of Marine Resources and Environment.
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Deputy Chairman in charge of the National Steering Committee for Basic Survey of Marine Resources and Environment shall be responsible for reporting to the Prime Minister on the specific personnel representing the leadership of the above-mentioned ministries.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 3. The Chairman of the Steering Committee, member agencies of the National Steering Committee for Basic Survey of Marine Resources and Environment, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
