DECISION
REGARDING THE ADOPTION OF THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULUM FOR VOCATIONAL COLLEGE LEVEL HIGHER EDUCATION IN PRIMARY TEACHER TRAINING
MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Education;
Pursuant to the Minutes of the Evaluation Council meeting held on November 21, 2003 regarding the framework curriculum for higher education in primary teacher training at vocational college level;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Higher Education and Graduate Studies,
DECISION
Article 1. To adopt the Framework Curriculum for Vocational College Level Higher Education in Primary Teacher Training as appended to this Decision.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. The curriculum attached to this Decision shall be used by universities and colleges with the task of training primary school teachers at vocational college level, starting from the academic year 2004.
Article 3. The Director of the Department of Higher Education and Graduate Studies is responsible for guiding rectors of universities and principals of colleges to organize the development and promulgation of their respective curricula, as well as compiling and approving common textbooks in accordance with regulations.
Article 4. The Head of the Office, Director of the Department of Higher Education and Graduate Studies, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, rectors of universities, and principals of colleges tasked with training primary school teachers at vocational college level are responsible for implementing this Decision.
