ISSUING REGULATIONS ON PASSENGER TRANSPORT BY TAXI

BASED ON THE ROAD TRAFFIC LAW dated June 29, 2001;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 34/2003/NĐ-CP of April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 110/2006/NĐ-CP of September 28, 2006 of the Government on conditions for operating passenger transport by motor vehicles;
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSAL OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT.
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED HERETO ARE THE REGULATIONS ON PASSENGER TRANSPORT BY TAXI.
Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL REPLACE DECREE NO. 4126/2001/QĐ-BGTVT OF DECEMBER 5, 2001 OF THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECISION ARE ABROGATED.
Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, DIRECTORS OF DEPARTMENTS, DIRECTORS OF VIETNAM HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AND CITY TRANSPORT DEPARTMENTS (TRANSPORT AND PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENTS), HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DECISION ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION./.
