Pursuant to the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
AT THE REQUEST OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE GENERAL DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY, HYDROLOGY AND CLIMATE CHANGE, AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT,
DECISION:
Article 1. THE FOLLOWING TWO (02) NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON METEOROLOGY AND HYDROLOGY ARE ISSUED:
1. QCVN 16:2008/BTNMT - NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON SURFACE METEOROLOGICAL LAWS CODE;
2. QCVN 17:2008/BTNMT - NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON AGRICULTURAL METEOROLOGICAL LAWS CODE.
Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE, REPLACING DECREE NO. 01/2006/QD-BTNMT OF JANUARY 11, 2006 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT REGARDING THE ISSUE OF AGRICULTURAL METEOROLOGICAL LAWS CODE AND DECREE NO. 18/2006/QD-BTNMT OF NOVEMBER 20, 2006 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT REGARDING THE ISSUE OF SURFACE METEOROLOGICAL LAWS CODE.
Article 3. THE MINISTER, HEADS OF GOVERNMENTAL BODIES AT THE MINISTERIAL LEVEL, HEADS OF GOVERNMENTAL BODIES UNDER THE GOVERNMENT, CHAIRMEN OF PROVINCE AND CITY PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES DIRECTLY SUBORDINATED TO THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, AND ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
