CIRCULAR
ISSUING REGULATIONS ON RADIATION CONTAMINATION LIMITS IN FOOD

BASED ON THE SANITARY AND FOOD SAFETY ORDINANCE dated August 7, 2003, and DECREE NO. 163/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 7, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Sanitary and Food Safety Ordinance;
BASED ON DECREE NO. 188/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 27, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
The Minister of Health hereby issues the Regulations on Radiation Contamination Limits in Food as follows:
Article 1. ANNEXED TO THIS CIRCULAR IS THE "REGULATIONS ON RADIATION CONTAMINATION LIMITS IN FOOD."
Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE. IF A NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION CORRESPONDING TO IT IS ISSUED, THE RADIATION CONTAMINATION LIMITS IN FOOD SHALL BE IMPLEMENTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THAT NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION.
Article 3. DIRECTORS: Office Director of the Ministry of Health; Inspector General of the Ministry of Health; Heads of the Legal Affairs Department, Science and Training Department; Director of the Food Safety and Quality Control Bureau; Heads of subordinate units under the Ministry of Health; Directors of Health Departments of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
