THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to Decree No. 68/CP dated October 11, 1993 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

Pursuant to the Health Insurance Charter issued together with Decree No. 58/1998/NĐ-CP dated August 13, 1998 of the Government and Circular No. 17/1998/TT-BYT dated December 19, 1998 of the Ministry of Health guiding medical examination and treatment, the use of medical examination and treatment funds, and health insurance payment procedures;

Pursuant to Joint Circular No. 14-TTLB dated September 30, 1995 of the Ministries of Health, Finance, Labor and Social Affairs, and the Government Price Bureau guiding the implementation of Decree No. 95-CP dated August 27, 1994 of the Government on the collection of a portion of hospital fees;

Pursuant to Decision No. 102/2002/QĐ-BYT dated January 14, 2002 of the Minister of Health regarding the issuance of the List of Rehabilitation Technical Services and Diseases Treated at Medical Examination and Treatment Facilities and Rehabilitation Hospitals to be Covered by Health Insurance;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Financial Accounting, the Director of the Department of Treatment, and the General Director of Vietnam Health Insurance;

Article 1. Now temporarily promulgates the Framework for Prices of Rehabilitation Technical Services and the Framework for Hospitalization Fees for Diseases Treated at Medical Examination and Treatment Facilities and Rehabilitation Hospitals to be Covered by Health Insurance (with attached Appendices).

Article 2. Assigns the Directors of hospitals and institutes under the Ministry of Health and those under other ministries and sectors to be responsible for organizing the implementation of specific pricing lists to be submitted to the Ministry of Health for approval, and to organize the collection of hospital fees and settlement with the health insurance agency in accordance with current regulations on the collection of a portion of hospital fees and health insurance payments.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of issuance.

Article 4. The officials: Head of the Office, Chief Inspector, Heads of Departments of Treatment, Financial Accounting of the Ministry of Health, General Director of Vietnam Health Insurance, Directors of hospitals and institutes under the Ministry of Health and other ministries and sectors, are responsible for implementing this decision.
