THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises;
Pursuant to the opinion of the Prime Minister in Circular No. 14/CP-ĐMDN dated February 2, 2000, assigning the Minister of Industry to lead and coordinate with relevant ministries and sectors to direct the restructuring or conversion of member units of the Vietnam Coal Corporation;
Based on the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Coal Corporation (report No. 387CV/HĐQT dated November 17, 1999) and the Director of the Personnel and Organization Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Transfer the Mining and Construction Vocational Training School (Thai Nguyen), currently a subordinate unit of the Vietnam Coal Corporation, to become a subordinate unit of the Domestic Coal Company, a member of the Vietnam Coal Corporation.
The Mining and Construction Vocational Training School is a public service entity, having a bank account and seals (including both embossed and reduced-size seals) for transactions and operations in accordance with the law.
- Main office located at Son Cam Commune, Phu Luong District, Thai Nguyen Province.
Article 2. Tasks of the school:
- Training and upgrading technical workers in the mining industry: Excavation, driving, equipment repair...;
- Industrial and civil construction;
- Operation and repair of cement equipment;
- Secondary vocational education;
- Coal extraction, processing, and marketing.
Article 3. The General Director of the Vietnam Coal Corporation is responsible for directing the transfer in accordance with current state regulations.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. All previous documents that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.
The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General, the Heads of Departments and Bureaus, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the General Director of the Vietnam Coal Corporation, the Principal of the Mining and Construction Vocational Training School, and the Director of the Domestic Coal Company are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
