Regarding the issuance of the Statistical Indicators System for the Natural Resources and Environment Sector

MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 91/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
Based on the Statistics Law dated June 17, 2003;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 40/2004/NĐ-CP dated February 13, 2004 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Statistics;
Pursuant to Decision No. 305/2005/QĐ-TTg dated November 24, 2005 of the Prime Minister on the issuance of the National Statistical Indicator System;
Pursuant to Circular No. 402/TCTK-PPCĐ dated June 20, 2007 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (General Statistics Office) on the review of the draft Statistical Indicators System for the Natural Resources and Environment Sector;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Statistical Indicators System for the Natural Resources and Environment Sector is hereby promulgated together with this Decision.
Article 2. The Department of Planning and Finance shall be responsible for leading and coordinating with relevant Departments and specialized Bureaus:
- Standardizing concepts, contents, and calculation methods for each indicator in the Statistical Indicators System for the Natural Resources and Environment Sector;
- Developing statistical reporting forms, periodic reporting systems, and statistical survey programs;
- Establishing and developing a statistical database based on the Statistical Indicators System for the Natural Resources and Environment Sector.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.
Article 4The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Head of the Department of Planning and Finance, the Heads of units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Directors of Provincial and Municipal Natural Resources and Environment Departments directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
