Issuing Regulations on the Conditions for Training Institutions for Seafarers and Inland Waterway Vessel Operators

MINISTER OF TRANSPORT

Pursuant to the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic dated June 15, 2004;

Pursuant to the Vocational Training Law dated November 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 51/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 22, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

At the request of the Director of the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration and the Head of the Cadre and Civil Servant Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached to this Decision is the"Regulations on the Conditions for Training Institutions for Seafarers and Inland Waterway Vessel Operators".

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede Decision No. 35/2004/QD-BGTVT dated December 23, 2004 issued by the Minister of Transport regarding the Regulations on the Conditions for Training Institutions for Seafarers and Inland Waterway Vessel Operators.

Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, Inspectorate, Departments, Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration, Provincial Departments of Transport, Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
