DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Issuing toll rates for motorcycles crossing My Thuan Bridge on National Highway 1A  

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 853/1997/CT-TTg dated October 11, 1997 on combating smuggling under new circumstances;

Pursuant to Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 of the Government on fees and charges under the state budget;

Following the proposal of the Ministry of Transport (document number 3167/BGTVT-TCKT dated September 21, 2000);

At the proposal of the Director General of the Tax Department, 

DECISION:

Article 1: The driver of a motorcycle crossing My Thuan Bridge on National Highway 1A must pay the toll as stipulated in this decision, except for those exempted from bridge and road tolls as provided in Circular No. 75/1998/TT-BTC dated June 2, 1998 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the amendment and supplementation of Point 1.d, Section A, Part IV and Point 3.n, Section I of Circular No. 57/1998/TT-BTC dated April 27, 1998 of the Ministry of Finance.

Regular ticket: 1,000 dong/ticket/time.

Monthly ticket: 15,000 dong/ticket/month.

Article 2: The toll collection agency for My Thuan Bridge on National Highway 1A shall implement the collection, payment, and management of collected tolls in accordance with Circular No. 54/1999/TT-BTC dated May 10, 1999 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the implementation of Decree No. 04/1999/NĐ-CP dated January 30, 1999 of the Government on fees and charges under the State budget.

Article 3: This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.

Article 4: Organizations and individuals subject to the obligation to pay tolls, units assigned by the Ministry of Transport to organize the collection of tolls for My Thuan Bridge on National Highway 1A, and related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision./.

GENERAL DEPARTMENT OF TAXATION

Regarding the issuance of toll rates for motorcycles crossing My Thuan Bridge.

In response to the directive of the Ministry, the General Department of Tax prepared the draft Decision of the Minister of Finance supplementing the toll rates for motorcycles crossing My Thuan Bridge, with the following rates:

Regular ticket: 1,000 dong/ticket/time.

Monthly ticket: 15,000 dong/ticket/month.

The regular ticket rate is established according to the level previously proposed by the Vietnam Road Administration of the Ministry of Transport (document number 471/CĐBVN-TCKT dated March 24, 2000).
