Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on Encouragement of Excellence and Reward dated November 26, 2003, and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Encouragement of Excellence and Reward dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Decree No. 121/2005/ND-CP dated September 30, 2005 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Encouragement of Excellence and Reward and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Encouragement of Excellence and Reward;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province (Report No. 29/TT-UBND dated June 11, 2007) and the Director of the Central Board of Encouragement of Excellence and Reward (Report No. 1739/TT-BTDTKH dated December 20, 2007),

Article 1. Award the Commemorative Medal for Revolutionaries Captured and Imprisoned by the Enemy to 271 individuals in Binh Dinh Province (attached list), who have demonstrated a spirit of steadfastness and indomitable courage, contributing to the success of the national liberation cause.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province, the Director of the Central Board of Encouragement of Excellence and Reward, and the individuals named in Article 1 shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
