GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 01/1997/QH10 dated December 12, 1997; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank dated June 17, 2003;
Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
Pursuant to Decision No. 25/2006/QĐ-TTg dated January 26, 2006 of the Prime Minister on the issuance of the Action Program of the Government on thrift and anti-waste;

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Action Program of the Banking Industry on thrift and anti-waste attached hereto.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

The Head of the Office of the State Bank of Vietnam; Heads of Departments, Bureaus, and units under the State Bank of Vietnam; Governors of State Bank of Vietnam Branches in provinces and centrally governed cities; Directors of representative offices in Ho Chi Minh City; organizations under the State Bank of Vietnam; Chairmen of the Boards of Management and General Directors of Credit Organizations, Social Policy Banks, Central Credit Unions, and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Vietnam; Chairmen of the Vietnam Bank Employees' Union and Directors of affiliated enterprises are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
