DECISION
Issuing the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in Military Science Fields
at the University Level

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Based on the appraisal results of the Advisory Council for the development of the framework curriculum for higher education in military science fields at the university level on June 18, 2006;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Studies.
DECISION:
Article 1. Attached to this Decision is the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in Military Science Fields at the University Level, including three framework curricula for the following three majors:
1. Command and Staff Major of the Army;
2. Command and Staff Major of Artillery;
3. Command and Staff Major of Special Forces.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. The framework curricula issued with this decision shall be used in universities and academies that have the responsibility to train the above three majors.
Article 3. Based on the framework curricula prescribed in this Decision, the Rectors of universities and academies and the Presidents of universities shall determine their educational programs; organize the compilation and approval of textbooks for courses for official use in their institutions based on the appraisal of the Textbook Appraisal Council established by the Rector or President.
Article 4. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Department of Universities and Graduate Studies, heads of units related to the Ministry of Education and Training, Rectors of universities and academies, and Presidents of universities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
