MINISTER OF TRANSPORT
Pursuant to the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic dated June 15, 2004;
Pursuant to the Vocational Training Law dated November 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 51/2008/ND-CP dated April 22, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
At the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Inland Waterway Transport Administration and the Head of the Personnel Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. The attached to this Decision is the "Regulations on Examination, Issuance, Renewal of Certificates and Licenses for Seafarers and Inland Waterway Vessel Operators and Assumption of Seafarer Positions on Inland Waterway Vessels".
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede the Decisions:
No. 36/2004/QD-BGTVT dated December 23, 2004 of the Minister of Transport issuing the Regulations on Examination, Issuance, Renewal of Certificates and Licenses for Seafarers and Inland Waterway Vessel Operators and Assumption of Seafarer Positions on Inland Waterway Vessels.
No. 38/2006/QD-BGTVT dated November 1, 2006 of the Minister of Transport amending and supplementing the Regulations on Examination, Issuance, Renewal of Certificates and Licenses for Seafarers and Inland Waterway Vessel Operators and Assumption of Seafarer Positions on Inland Waterway Vessels (issued together with Decision No. 36/2004/QD-BGTVT dated December 23, 2004 of the Minister of Transport).
Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Heads of all Departments, the Directors of the Vietnam Inland Waterway Transport Administration, the Directors of Provincial Transport Departments, the Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
