Issuing the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Secondary Schools

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decision No. 16/2006/QĐ-BGDĐT dated May 5, 2006 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the General Program of General Education;

Upon the proposal of the Director of the Department of Educational Infrastructure and School Equipment, Children's Toys; the Director of the Department of Secondary Education; the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, the Minister of Education and Training hereby decides:

Article 1. To issue the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Secondary Schools together with this Circular.

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect from September 25, 2009 and replace the following decisions:

- Decision No. 21/2002/QĐ/BGD&ĐT dated April 16, 2002 of the Minister of Education and Training on issuing the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Grade 6;

- Decision No. 13/2003/QĐ/BGD&ĐT dated March 24, 2003 of the Minister of Education and Training on issuing the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Grade 7;

- Decision No. 24/2003/QĐ/BGD&ĐT dated June 9, 2003 of the Minister of Education and Training on amending and supplementing the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Grade 7 issued together with Decision No. 13/2003/QĐ/BGD&ĐT dated March 24, 2003;

- Decision No. 10/2004/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated April 15, 2004 of the Minister of Education and Training on issuing the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Grade 8;

- Decision No. 20/2004/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated July 20, 2004 of the Minister of Education and Training on amending and supplementing the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Grades 3 and 8 issued together with Decision No. 03/2004/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated February 23, 2004; Decision No. 10/2004/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated April 15, 2004 of the Minister of Education and Training and approving the model list of minimum teaching equipment for Grades 3 and 8;

- Decision No. 16/2005/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated May 17, 2005 of the Minister of Education and Training on issuing the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Grade 9;

All previous provisions contrary to the provisions of this Circular are hereby abolished.

Article 3. Based on the Minimum List of Teaching Equipment for Secondary Schools issued together with this Circular, the Departments of Education and Training shall be responsible for directing the procurement, production, collection, preservation, and use of equipment for teaching at secondary schools.

Article 4. The Head of the Office; the Director of the Department of Educational Infrastructure and School Equipment, Children's Toys; the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance; the Director of the Department of Secondary Education; the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment; the Heads of units under the Ministry of Education and Training related to this matter and the Directors of the Departments of Education and Training shall be responsible for implementing this Circular./.
