CIRCULAR

SUPPLEMENTING THE AREAS TO BE PROVIDED WITH PUBLIC TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES UNTIL 2010

MINISTER OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS

BASED ON THE TELECOMMUNICATION LAW NO. 41/2009/QH12 OF DECEMBER 4, 2009;

BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 187/2007/NĐ-CP OF DECEMBER 25, 2007 OF THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDING FOR THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION;

BASED ON THE DECISION NO. 74/2006/QĐ-TTg OF APRIL 7, 2006 OF THE PRIME MINISTER APPROVING THE PROGRAM TO PROVIDE PUBLIC TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES UNTIL 2010;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance,

c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B

Article 1. SUPPLEMENTING (ROUND 6) EIGHT COUNTIES AND FORTY-ONE ISLANDS INTO THE AREAS TO BE PROVIDED WITH PUBLIC TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES UNTIL 2010. THE LIST OF COUNTIES AND ISLANDS IS ATTACHED AT ANNEXES 1 AND 2 OF THIS CIRCULAR.

Article 2. THE COUNTIES AND ISLANDS MENTIONED IN ARTICLE 1 OF THIS CIRCULAR SHALL ENJOY THE SUPPORT POLICIES FOR PROVIDING PUBLIC TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES AS PROVIDED BY THE STATE.

Article 3. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM OCTOBER 1, 2010./.
