Amending and supplementing certain provisions of Circular No. 10/2012/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 22, 2012
of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the List of Plant Protection Chemicals
permitted for use, restricted use, and prohibited use in Vietnam

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Decree No. 33/2005/NĐ-CP of the Government dated March 15, 2005 detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Veterinary Law, and Decree No. 119/2008/NĐ-CP dated November 28, 2008 amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 33/2005/NĐ-CP;
Pursuant to Circular No. 38/2010/TT-BNNPTNT dated June 28, 2010 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the Management of Plant Protection Chemicals;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Plant Protection Department;
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgates this Circular amending and supplementing certain provisions of Circular No. 10/2012/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 22, 2012 promulgating the List of Plant Protection Chemicals permitted for use, restricted use, and prohibited use in Vietnam.
Article 1. Supplementing 27 types of plant protection chemicals excluding spider mites harmful to lychee into the List of Plant Protection Chemicals permitted for use in Vietnam, attached Appendix.
Article 2. The export and import of these types of plant protection chemicals under this Circular shall be carried out in accordance with Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and agency buying, selling, processing, and transiting goods with foreign countries.
Article 3. The Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Head of the Ministry's Office, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.
Article 4. This Circular takes effect from May 2, 2012./.
