CIRCULAR

Issuing Economic and Technical Standards for Geophysical Work

Pursuant to the Law on Minerals dated November 17, 2010;

Pursuant to Decree No. 158/2016/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2016 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain articles of the Law on Minerals;

Pursuant to Decree No. 68/2022/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

At the request of the Director General of the Vietnam General Department of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, and the Director of the Legal Department;

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issues this Circular on economic and technical standards for geophysical work.

Article 1. This Circular attaches economic and technical standards for geophysical work.

Article 2. Effectiveness

1. This Circular takes effect from February 6, 2023.

2. Abolish the economic and technical standards for geophysical work (except for provisions related to the economic and technical standards for measuring induced polarization with alternating current for V5 and T3 stations) as stipulated in Part VII of Circular No. 11/2010/TT-BTNMT dated July 5, 2010, promulgating economic and technical standards for geological works.

3. Abolish the economic and technical standards for deep electrical resistivity imaging and the economic and technical standards for deep magnetic field measurement as stipulated in Parts XIII and XV of Circular No. 07/2013/TT-BTNMT dated May 7, 2013, amending and supplementing the economic and technical standards for geological works promulgated in Circular No. 11/2010/TT-BTNMT dated July 5, 2010.

4. Abolish the economic and technical standards for radon gas measurement (alpha method) as stipulated in Chapter VII, Part III of Circular No. 47/2015/TT-BTNMT dated November 5, 2015, promulgating procedures and economic and technical standards for twelve categories of work in basic geological surveys and mineral exploration.

Article 3. Implementation

1. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, provincial People's Committees under central cities, units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and relevant organizations and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Circular.

2. In the process of implementation, if there are difficulties or obstacles, agencies, organizations, and individuals are requested to promptly report to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for consideration and resolution./.
