OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

 

CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 13/SL dated February 3, 1947 prohibiting import and export throughout the territory of Vietnam;

Pursuant to Decree-Laws Nos. 29/B/SL dated March 16, 1947 and 53/SL dated June 1, 1947 organizing the Foreign Trade Bureau;

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 82/SL dated September 17, 1947 and Decree-Law No. 189-SL dated May 28, 1948 amending penalties and procedures for prosecuting violations of foreign trade regulations;

Pursuant to the proposal of the Minister of Economy;

After deliberation by the Council of Ministers and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly,

ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:

Article 1

The following are hereby prohibited:

1. Trading in,

2. Transporting and storing for trading purposes foreign luxury goods throughout the territory of Vietnam.

Article 2

A list of luxury goods shall be established by the Minister of Economy.

Article 3

Violations of this Decree-Law shall be prosecuted and punished in accordance with Article 7 of Decree-Law No. 29/B/SL dated March 16, 1947 (amended by Decree-Laws Nos. 82/SL dated September 17, 1947 and 189/SL dated May 28, 1948).

Article 4

The Ministers of Economy and Justice shall enforce this Decree-Law.
