Regarding the issuance of Industry Standards
THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
On the basis of the Quality of Goods Ordinance 04/01/2000;
Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated 11/11/2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry;
On the basis of Decision No. 27/2001/QĐ-TCBĐ dated 09/01/2001 of the Posts and Telecommunications General Department (now the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry) on the development, issuance, and publication of standards in the Posts sector;
At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,
DECISION:
Article 1.- Issued together with this Decision are 04 Industry Standards:
1. Wireless telephone equipment (extension type) - Technical requirements, Code TCN 68-143: 2003;
2. Telecommunication terminal equipment - Electrical safety requirements, Code TCN 68-190: 2003;
3. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Telecommunication equipment - General emission requirements, Code TCN 68-191: 2003.
4. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Radio communication equipment - General electromagnetic compatibility requirements, Code TCN 68-192: 2003.
Article 2.- The industry standards set forth in Article 1 shall replace the corresponding industry standards:
1. Wireless telephone equipment (extension type) - Technical requirements, Code TCN 68-143: 2000;
2. Telecommunication terminal equipment - Electrical safety requirements, Code TCN 68-190: 2000;
3. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Telecommunication equipment - General emission requirements, Code TCN 68-191: 2000.
4. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Radio communication equipment - General electromagnetic compatibility requirements, Code TCN 68-192: 2000.
Article 3.- The mandatory application of the standards set forth in Article 1 shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signing this Decision.
Article 4.- The Director of the Office, Heads of the Science and Technology Department, Heads of functional units, subordinate units of the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
