Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

At the proposal of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Minister of Construction.

DECISION:

Article 1. The wages for officials and employees working at the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction are regulated as follows:

1. Officials and employees working at the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction under ministries, sectors, or localities shall be classified according to their professional and vocational pay scales and shall enjoy position allowances as stipulated for administrative and public service officials and civil servants under Decree No. 25/CP dated May 23, 1993 of the Government on the temporary wage system for administrative and public service officials and civil servants and armed forces; officials and employees working at the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction under enterprises shall be classified according to their professional and vocational pay scales and shall enjoy position allowances as stipulated for enterprise officials under Decree No. 26/CP dated May 23, 1993 of the Government on the temporary wage system in enterprises.

2. The Project Management Board for Investment and Construction may apply the adjustment factor increasing the minimum wage level as prescribed in Decree No. 28/CP dated March 28, 1997 of the Government on reforming wage and income management in state-owned enterprises to pay wages to officials and employees currently working there, but this application shall not increase the management costs allowed under current regulations and shall not be carried forward as salary when they cease working at the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction.

Article 2. The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decision.

Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Article 4. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
