DECISION

On the issuance of Regulations on Management and Use of Office Premises

at Administrative and Service Organizations

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Pursuant to the Law on Thrift and Prevention of Waste dated February 26, 1998;

Pursuant to Decree No. 14/1998/NĐ-CP dated March 6, 1998 of the Government on State Asset Management;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on Tasks, Authorities and Responsibilities for State Administration by Ministries and Agencies at the Level of Ministries;

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/CP dated October 25, 1994 of the Government on Tasks, Authorities and Organizational Structure of the Ministry of Finance;

To strengthen state management over office premises of administrative and service organizations to ensure proper, effective, and economical use.

DECISION:

Article 1:  The "Regulations on Management and Use of Office Premises at Administrative and Service Organizations" is hereby promulgated along with this Decision.

Article 2: These Regulations apply uniformly to all office premises of state management agencies, service organizations, military units, political organizations, socio-political organizations, and diplomatic missions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam abroad (collectively referred to as administrative and service organizations) formed from budget funds or with a budget origin, or established with State ownership rights in accordance with legal provisions.

Article 3: This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its date of issuance, superseding Decision No. 399 TC/QLCS dated May 17, 1995 of the Minister of Finance.

Ministers of Ministries, Heads of Agencies at the Level of Ministries and other Government Agencies, Chairmen of Provincial People's Committees and Municipalities directly under the Central Government, and Heads of related organizations and agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision.
