DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

Regarding the transfer of Vietnam Health Insurance to Vietnam Social Security

 

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

To implement the organizational restructuring of the Government in the new situation;

Considering the work requirements;

DECISION:

Article 1. Transfer Vietnam Health Insurance to Vietnam Social Security.

Article 2. Entrust the Minister of the Government’s Organization and Cadre Affairs Department to take the lead, in coordination with the Ministers of Finance, Health, and Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to guide the implementation of this Decision and submit to the Prime Minister for decision on supplementing and amending the Regulations on the organization and operation of Vietnam Social Security issued pursuant to Decision No. 606/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.

Article 4. The Minister of the Government’s Organization and Cadre Affairs Department, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministers of other ministries at the ministerial level, the heads of agencies equivalent to ministries, the heads of government-affiliated agencies, the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities, and the General Director of Vietnam Social Security are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
