Regarding the assignment of tasks for training and improving skills of ship captains, chief engineers, and fishery crew members for the Thanh Hoa Fisheries Secondary School

Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2003/ND-CP dated May 2, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Fisheries;

Pursuant to Decision No. 09/2003/QD-BTS dated August 5, 2003 of the Minister of Fisheries stipulating the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of Departments, Inspectors, and Office;

Pursuant to Circular Joint No. 01/2005/TTLT-BTS-BNV dated May 3, 2005 of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of specialized agencies assisting provincial People's Committees and municipal People's Committees under the Central Government in managing fisheries affairs;

The phrase "or examination" is abolished pursuant to Clause 6, Article 8 of Circular No. 15/2025/TT-BVHTTDL dated November 25, 2025, of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism amending and supplementing certain articles of Circulars prescribing job codes, qualification standards, and salary grades for civil servants in the heritage culture, library, grassroots cultural activities, sports, fine arts, art performance, film, and cultural propaganda sectors, which takes effect from January 15, 2026.

Article 1. Now, the Thanh Hoa Fisheries Secondary School is assigned the task of opening classes for training and improving skills of ship captains, chief engineers, and fishery crew members according to the Regulations issued by Decisions No. 402TS/QD dated September 30, 1992; Decision No. 448TS/QD dated October 21, 1992; Decision No. 449TS/QD dated October 21, 1992; Decision No. 718/2001/QD-BTS dated September 4, 2001; and Decision No. 28/2004/QD-BTS dated December 17, 2004 of the Minister of Fisheries.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The Thanh Hoa Fisheries Secondary School shall implement the task set forth in Article 1 within the province of Thanh Hoa.

Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, Department Heads, Bureau Chiefs of all Departments and Bureaus, Chief Inspector of the Ministry, Director of the Thanh Hoa Fisheries Service, and Principal of the Thanh Hoa Fisheries Secondary School are responsible for implementing this Decision.
