Regarding the adjustment of land use planning until 2010 and the five-year (2006-2010) land use plan for Thai Nguyen province

Upon the proposal of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province (Report No. 04/TTr-UBND dated January 20, 2006) and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (Report No. 09/TTr-BTNMT dated March 6, 2006),

Based on the Land Law dated November 26, 2003;

Article 1. Approves the adjustment of the land use planning until 2010 for Thai Nguyen province with the following indicators:

1. Organizing the implementation of land use planning in conjunction with economic and social development goals, national defense and security tasks, and environmental protection.

Article 3. 2. The allocation of land, leasing of land, and change of land use purpose must be based on approved land use planning, ensuring proper, economical, and effective use of land.

3. Strengthening supervision and inspection of land management and use, promptly resolving land disputes, firmly handling cases of violation of land laws and planning, and taking specific measures as prescribed by law to mobilize capital and resources to meet the funding needs for implementing the provincial land use planning adjustment plan.

4. In case adjustments are needed to the main indicators of the land use planning, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province shall submit to the Government for consideration and decision.

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province, and the heads of relevant ministries and sectors shall be responsible for implementing this Resolution./

4. In cases where it is necessary to adjust the main indicators of the land use plan, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province shall submit to the Government for consideration and decision.

Article 4. The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province, and the Heads of relevant Ministries and sectors are responsible for implementing this Resolution./
