CIRCULAR
Regulations on Statistical Reporting System for the Natural Resources and Environment Sector

Pursuant to the Law on Statistics dated November 23, 2015;
Pursuant to Decree No. 94/2016/NĐ-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Statistics;
Pursuant to Decree No. 97/2016/NĐ-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Government stipulating the contents of statistical indicators under the National Statistical Indicator System;
Pursuant to Decree No. 36/2017/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2017 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
At the proposal of the Director of the Planning and Finance Department and the Director of the Legal Affairs Department;
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment promulgates this Circular regulating the statistical reporting system for the natural resources and environment sector.
Article 1. This Circular sets forth the statistical reporting system for the natural resources and environment sector.
Article 2. Effectiveness
This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2018 and replaces Circular No. 02/2014/TT-BTNMT dated January 22, 2014 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment on the statistical reporting system for the natural resources and environment sector.
Article 3. Responsibility for Implementation
Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government-attached agencies, provincial People's Committees, municipal People's Committees directly under the central government, provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, municipal Departments of Natural Resources and Environment directly under the central government, units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and organizations and individuals related thereto are responsible for implementing this Circular. In the process of implementing this Circular, if there are difficulties or obstacles, they are requested to promptly reflect them to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for research and resolution.
