RESOLUTION
ON THE STRUCTURE AND NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNMENT FOR THE 15TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TERM
OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
On the basis of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
BASED ON THE LAW ON THE ORGANIZATION OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY NO. 57/2014/QH13, AS AMENDED BY SOME ARTICLES IN LAW NO. 65/2020/QH14;
Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government No. 76/2015/QH13 amended and supplemented by Law No. 47/2019/QH14;
Pursuant to the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly sessions issued together with Resolution No. 102/2015/QH13 dated November 24, 2015 of the National Assembly;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 08/2021/QH15 dated July 23, 2021 of the National Assembly on the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term;
Pursuant to the Report No. 1016/TTr-TTg dated July 26, 2021 of the Prime Minister on the structure and number of members of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term;
RESOLUTION:
Article 1
The structure and number of members of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term shall consist of 27 members:
- Prime Minister;
- 04 Deputy Prime Ministers;
- 18 Ministers of the following Ministries: Defense; Public Security; Foreign Affairs; Home Affairs; Justice; Planning and Investment; Finance; Industry and Trade; Agriculture and Rural Development; Transport; Construction; Natural Resources and Environment; Information and Communications; Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Science and Technology; Education and Training; Health;
- 04 Heads of agencies at ministerial level: Chairman of the State Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas; Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; Inspector General of the Government; Chairman of the Office of the Government.
Article 2
The Prime Minister shall submit to the National Assembly for approval the nominations for Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and Heads of agencies at ministerial level.
Article 3
This Resolution shall take effect from the date it is adopted by the National Assembly.
This Resolution was adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 15th session, first meeting, on July 28, 2021.
