Decree No. 208/SL stipulates the monthly basic allowance for members of the Anti-French Resistance Administrative Committee (AFRAC) at the inter-provincial, provincial, city, county, and town levels. This document replaces part of a previous decree and comes into effect from May 1, 1948.

IN ADDITION TO THE BASIC ALLOWANCE PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE 2, THOSE WHO HAVE A FAMILY SHALL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL MONTHLY ALLOWANCE AS FOLLOWS: |

ANY MEMBER WHO CONTINUES TO RECEIVE SALARY FROM THEIR ORGANIZATION (E.G., MILITARY COMMITTEE MEMBER) SHALL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL "COMPLEMENTARY ALLOWANCE" TO BRING THEIR TOTAL ALLOWANCE TO THE AMOUNT SET OUT IN ARTICLE 2 AND ARTICLE 3.

REGULAR CIVIL SERVANTS OR TEMPORARILY HIRED CIVIL SERVANTS ELECTED TO THE PEOPLE'S MILITARY-CIVIL ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEES SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THEIR POSTS TO HOLD THESE POSITIONS AND CONTINUE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PENSION FUND.
Article 5
WHEN A CIVIL SERVANT IS REMOVED FROM THEIR POST TO HOLD ONE OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED POSITIONS AND THE TOTAL SALARY FROM THEIR ORIGINAL POST AND RANK IS HIGHER THAN THE ALLOWANCE SET OUT IN ARTICLE 2 AND ARTICLE 3, THEY SHALL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE THE ORIGINAL SALARY.
THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND THE MINISTER OF FINANCE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE.
