Circular No. 21/2011/TT-NHNN amends and supplements Clause 5 of Article 3 on cash receipt and delivery, storage, and transportation of precious metals, securities, and valuable papers issued pursuant to Decision No. 60/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated December 27, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

CIRCULAR

Amending and supplementing Clause 5 of Article 3 on the handover, storage, and transportation of cash, valuable assets, and securities issued together with Decision No. 60/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated December 27, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

The State Bank of Vietnam amends and supplements Clause 5 of Article 3 of the Regulations on Handover, Storage, and Transportation of Cash, Valuable Assets, and Securities issued together with Decision No. 60/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated December 27, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam as follows:

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 46/2010/QH12 dated June 16, 2010;

Pursuant to Decree No. 96/2008/NĐ-CP dated August 26, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

The State Bank of Vietnam amends and supplements Clause 5 of Article 3 of the Regulations on Handover, Storage, and Transportation of Cash, Valuable Assets, and Securities issued together with Decision No. 60/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated December 27, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam as follows:

Article 1. Amends and supplements Clause 5 of Article 3 of the Regulations on Handover, Storage, and Transportation of Cash, Valuable Assets, and Securities issued together with Decision No. 60/2006/QĐ-NHNN dated December 27, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam as follows:

"5. A box of metallic currency consists of 10 bags of the same denomination. For the Central Treasury and the Branch Treasury of the State Bank of Vietnam in Binh Dinh Province, a box of metallic currency includes: - 50 bags of 5,000 VND denomination; - 75 bags of 2,000 VND and 1,000 VND denominations; - 100 bags of 500 VND denomination; - 100 bags of 200 VND denomination."

Article 2. Implementation

1. This Circular shall take effect from September 1, 2011.

2. The Director of the Office, the Director of the Issuance and Treasury Department, the Heads of relevant units under the State Bank of Vietnam, the Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam branches in provinces and centrally governed cities, the Chairmen of the Management Boards and General Directors (Directors) of credit organizations are responsible for implementing this Circular.
