DECREE-LAW
NO. 217/SL OF AUGUST 20, 1948
CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 180/SL dated April 30, 1948;
At the proposal of the Minister of Finance;
After consultation with the Council of Ministers and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-ORDER:
Article 1
Clause III of Decree-Law No. 180/SL dated April 30, 1948 is hereby amended by adding a new paragraph as follows:
"In special cases, the Minister of Finance may permit government agencies to circulate and store Indochinese banknotes."
Article 2
The Minister of Finance and the Minister of Justice are authorized to implement this Decree-Law.
