Repeals Circular No. 42/2017/TT-BTC dated April 28, 2017 guiding the management and use of state budget funds for creative activities of literary and artistic works, press at the central level and local literature and art associations, and supporting high-quality press works at local press associations during the period of 2016-2020
                                               

Based on the Law on Enactment of Legislative Acts dated June 22, 2015;

Pursuant to the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents issued on June 14, 2020;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and implementing measures of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents;

Pursuant to Decree No. 154/2020/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing some articles and measures to implement the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents;

Pursuant to Decree No. 87/2017/NĐ-CP dated July 26, 2017, issued by the Government, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

At the proposal of the Director of the Administrative and Public Service Financial Department;

The Minister of Finance issues this Circular to repeal Circular No. 42/2017/TT-BTC dated April 28, 2017 of the Minister of Finance guiding the management and use of state budget funds for creative activities of literary and artistic works, press at the central level and local literature and art associations, and supporting high-quality press works at local press associations during the period of 2016-2020.

Article 1. Repeals entirely Circular No. 42/2017/TT-BTC dated April 28, 2017 of the Minister of Finance guiding the management and use of state budget funds for creative activities of literary and artistic works, press at the central level and local literature and art associations, and supporting high-quality press works at local press associations during the period of 2016-2020.

Article 2. Implementation clause

1. This Circular takes effect from June 1, 2023.

2. The Director of the Administrative and Public Financial Affairs Department, Heads of units under the Ministry of Finance, and related agencies, organizations, and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Circular.
