ISSUING NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON THE ANTI-COLLISION SYSTEM FOR SEAGOING SHIPS

Pursuant to the Vietnam Maritime Code on November 25, 2015;
Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 56/2022/ND-CP dated August 24, 2022 of THE GOVERNMENT stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT;
At the proposal of the Director of the Science, Technology, and Environment Department and the Director of the Vietnam Registration Agency;
THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT ISSUES THIS CIRCULAR ON NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON THE ANTI-COLLISION SYSTEM FOR SEAGOING SHIPS.
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR ARE THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON THE ANTI-COLLISION SYSTEM FOR SEAGOING SHIPS.

Article 2. Effective Date
1. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM DECEMBER 1, 2024.
2. THIS CIRCULAR REPEALS CLAUSE 1 OF ARTICLE 1 OF CIRCULAR NO. 24/2014/TT-BGTVT DATED JUNE 30, 2014 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT ON NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON THE ANTI-COLLISION SYSTEM FOR SEAGOING SHIPS, NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON TUGGING OPERATIONS AT SEA, NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON CLASSIFICATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF BUOYS AND SIGNAL BUOYS, AND NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON MARINE POLLUTION PREVENTION SYSTEMS FOR SHIPS.
Article 3. Implementation Organization
THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S INSPECTORATE, THE DIRECTORS OF THE MINISTRY’S DEPARTMENTS, THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARINE INSPECTION AUTHORITY, THE HEADS OF MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT’S AGENCIES AND UNITS, AND ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THESE REGULATIONS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS CIRCULAR./.
