Decision No. 224/2005/QĐ-TTg On approving the Scheme for reorganizing and modernizing state-owned agricultural and forestry farms under the People's Committee of Son La Province

DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

Regarding the approval of the Plan for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned agricultural and forestry farms under the People's Committee of Quang Ngai Province

of the People's Committee of Son La Province

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Decree No. 170/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, renovation, and development of state-owned agricultural enterprises;

Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned forest enterprises;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La Province,

DECISION:

Article 1. Approves the Scheme for the reorganization and reform of state-owned agricultural and forestry farms under the People's Committee of Son La Province:

1. Convert the processing facilities of four state-owned agricultural farms into joint-stock companies and transform these agricultural farms into Agricultural Companies:

- Chieung Sung Agricultural Farm;

- To Hieu Agricultural Farm;

- Co Do Agricultural Farm;

- Chieung Ve Agricultural Farm.

2. Convert the processing facilities of Phu - Bac Yen Forestry Farm and transform this Forestry Farm into Phu - Bac Yen Forestry Company.

3. Transform the following forest enterprises into Forest Management Boards:

- Muong La Forestry Farm;

- Song Ma Forestry Farm;

- Mo Cha Forestry Farm;

- Special Song Ma Forestry Farm shall be converted into the Management Board of Protective Forests in Soc Pom District.

4. Dissolve the Forest Products - Industry Company of Son La.

Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La Province

1. Direct the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned agricultural and forestry farms as stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision.

2. Decides to adjust the area and boundaries of land allocated to agricultural and forestry companies and forest management boards in accordance with the local agricultural and forestry development plan and the development plan of each agricultural and forestry farm.

Article 3. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Natural Resources and Environment, Planning and Investment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and other relevant ministries shall cooperate with the People's Committee of Son La Province in implementing this Scheme.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall be responsible for monitoring the implementation of this Decision.

Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La Province and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
