Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, tenth session, tenth meeting, dated December 25, 2001;
To implement the merger of the Ministry of Fisheries with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development based on the expanded meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held on August 6, 2007;

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Merge the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development into the Science and Technology Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall be responsible for transferring the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development intact to the Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The phrase "or examination" is abolished pursuant to Clause 6, Article 8 of Circular No. 15/2025/TT-BVHTTDL dated November 25, 2025, of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism amending and supplementing certain articles of Circulars prescribing job codes, qualification standards, and salary grades for civil servants in the heritage culture, library, grassroots cultural activities, sports, fine arts, art performance, film, and cultural propaganda sectors, which takes effect from January 15, 2026.
DECISION:
Article 1. Assign the Director of the Science and Technology Department to organize the establishment of the functions, duties, powers, and organizational structure of the Science and Technology Department in accordance with new regulations, submit them to the Minister for promulgation and implementation.
Article 2. The Head of the Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department, the Director of the Science and Technology Department, and the Heads of the agencies and units under the Ministry shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
Direct the Director of the Science and Technology Department to organize the establishment of the functions, tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Science and Technology Department in accordance with new regulations, submit to the Minister for issuance and implementation.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 4. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department, the Director of the Science and Technology Department, and the Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
