Issuing "National Technical Regulations on the creation of geological mineral maps

at a scale of 1:50,000 for mainland"

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations 2006;

Pursuant to the Law on Enacting Legal Normative Documents 2008;

BASED ON THE MINERALS LAW 2010;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Standards and Technical Regulations Law;

Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Decree No. 89/2010/NĐ-CP dated September 18, 2010 of the Government amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/2012/NĐ-CP dated March 9, 2012, issued by the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Minerals Law;

AT THE REQUEST OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE GEOLOGY AND MINERAL RESOURCES GENERAL DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTOR OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT, AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE LEGAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT,

c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B

Article 1. Attached hereto with this Circular is the "National Technical Regulation on the creation of geological mineral maps at a scale of 1:50,000 for mainland," code number QCVN 49:2012/BTNMT.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from March 5, 2013, and replaces Decision No. 13/2008/QĐ-BTNMT dated December 24, 2008 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment on the issuance of regulations on mapping geological maps and mineral resource surveys at a scale of 1:50,000.

Article 3. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, agencies under the Government, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
