CIRCULAR

ISSUING NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS FOR FILTER TIP TOBACCO PRODUCTS

Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of Harmful Effects of Tobacco Products dated June 18, 2012;

Pursuant to the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 67/2013/NĐ-CP dated June 27, 2013, issued by the Government detailing certain provisions and measures for the implementation of the Law on Prevention and Control of Harmful Effects of Tobacco regarding tobacco trade;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;

This Circular prescribes procedures for receiving, providing health care for domestic violence victims and statistical reports on domestic violence victims at medical facilities.

At the proposal of the Director of the Food Safety Administration;

The Minister of Health issues this Circular on the issuance of the National Technical Regulation on Cigarettes.

Article 1. 1. National Technical Regulation on Railway Traffic Signals, number QCVN 21:2025/BXD.

QCVN 16-1:2015/BYT - National technical regulations for filter tip tobacco products.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from November 1, 2015. The maximum levels of Tar and Nicotine specified in QCVN 16-1:2015/BYT shall be applied until December 31, 2020.

Decision No. 02/2007/QĐ-BYT dated January 15, 2007 of the Minister of Health on "Sanitary Safety Regulations for Tobacco Products" ceases to be effective from the date this Circular takes effect.

Article 3. The Director of the Food Safety Agency, heads of units under the Ministry of Health, units directly under the Ministry of Health; directors of provincial and centrally-administered city health departments, and related agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
