Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

WHEREAS, Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations;

Pursuant to Decree No. 78/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 16, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;

Pursuant to Decree No. 17/2017/NĐ-CP dated February 17, 2017, issued by the Government, on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communications;

Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,

The Minister of Information and Communications issues this Circular abolishing certain provisions of Circular No. 18/2010/TT-BTTTT dated July 30, 2010 and Circular No. 29/2011/TT-BTTTT dated October 26, 2011 of the Minister of Information and Communications on National Technical Regulations for Telecommunications.

Article 1. Abolishing certain provisions of Circular No. 18/2010/TT-BTTTT dated July 30, 2010 and Circular No. 29/2011/TT-BTTTT dated October 26, 2011 of the Minister of Information and Communications on National Technical Regulations for Telecommunications.

1. Abolishing certain provisions of Circular No. 18/2010/TT-BTTTT dated July 30, 2010 of the Minister of Information and Communications on National Technical Regulations for Telecommunications as follows:

a) Abolishing Clause 10, Article 1, which provides for the National Technical Regulation on PHS terminal equipment. Code: QCVN 11:2010/BTTTT.

b) Abolishing Clause 12, Article 1, which provides for the National Technical Regulation on CDMA 2000-1x mobile phones operating at 800 MHz band. Code: QCVN 13:2010/BTTTT.

c) Abolishing Clause 13, Article 1, which provides for the National Technical Regulation on CDMA 2000-1x base station equipment for mobile communication. Code: QCVN 14:2010/BTTTT.

d) Abolishing Clause 16, Article 1, which provides for the National Technical Regulation on frequency spectrum and electromagnetic compatibility for analog television transmitters. Code: QCVN 17:2010/BTTTT.

2. Abolishing certain provisions of Circular No. 29/2011/TT-BTTTT dated October 26, 2011 of the Minister of Information and Communications on National Technical Regulations for Telecommunications as follows:

a) Abolishing Clause 6, Article 1, which provides for the National Technical Regulation on Point-to-Multipoint Radio Equipment under 1 GHz using TDMA access. Code: QCVN 45:2011/BTTTT.

b) Abolishing Clause 7, Article 1, which provides for the National Technical Regulation on Point-to-Multipoint Radio Equipment under 1 GHz using FDMA access. Code: QCVN 46:2011/BTTTT.

c) Abolishing Clause 8, Article 1, which provides for the National Technical Regulation on Point-to-Multipoint Radio Equipment under 1 GHz using DS-CDMA access. Code: QCVN 48:2011/BTTTT.

d) Abolishing Clause 9, Article 1, which provides for the National Technical Regulation on Point-to-Multipoint Radio Equipment under 1 GHz using FH-CDMA access. Code: QCVN 49:2011/BTTTT.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2022.

Article 3. The Director of the Office, Heads of Science and Technology Department, Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, Directors of Provincial Departments of Information and Communications, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
