THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to Decree No. 55/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 28, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to the Product Quality Ordinance dated December 24, 1999;
Pursuant to Decision No. 2264/1999/QĐ-BKHCN&MT dated December 30, 1999 of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) on the issuance of standards;
Based on the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Article 1. Attached to this Decision are six industry standards with the following numbers:
16 TCN 986: 2006 to 16 TCN 991: 2006
These standards are encouraged for application by research institutions, training centers, and production and business enterprises throughout the country.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Director of the Department of Science and Technology is responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decision.
Article 3. The Head of the Ministry’s Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of Departments and Directorates under the Ministry, and the Heads of related agencies and units are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
