Amending and supplementing Appendix III and Appendix V promulgated together with Circular No.

43/2015/TT-BGTVT dated August 20, 2015 of the Minister of the Ministry of Transport regarding procedures for issuing, approving, and revoking the Declaration of Compliance with Seafarers' Work and the Seafarers' Work Certificate.

Pursuant to Decision No. 547/2013/QĐ-CTN dated March 22, 2013 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on joining the Maritime Labor Convention, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 121/2014/NĐ-CP dated December 24, 2014 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Maritime Labor Convention, 2006 concerning seafarers' working conditions;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Transport Infrastructure and the Director General of the Vietnam Maritime Administration;

Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2017/NĐ-CP dated February 10, 2017, issued by the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

Pursuant to the 2014 amendments and supplements to the Maritime Labor Convention, 2006;

At the proposal of the Director of the Legal Department, the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, and the Director of the Vietnam Ship Survey Bureau,

Appendix III and Appendix V promulgated together with

Circular No. 43/2015/TT-BGTVT dated August 20, 2015 of the Ministry of Transport regarding procedures for issuing, approving, and revoking the Declaration of Compliance with Seafarers' Work and the Seafarers' Work Certificate.

1. Amending and supplementing Clause 2, Article 3 of Circular No. 12/2022/TT-BGTVT as follows: Article 1. Amending and supplementing Appendix III and Appendix V promulgated together with Circular No. 43/2015/TT-BGTVT dated August 20, 2015 of the Minister of the Ministry of Transport regarding procedures for issuing, approving, and revoking the Declaration of Compliance with Seafarers' Work and the Seafarers' Work Certificate. 1. Supplementing items 15 and 16 following item 14 in Appendix III as follows:

Article 2. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from October 1, 2017.

The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of the Departments, the Directors of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the Directors of the Vietnam Ship Registry, the Heads of agencies, organizations, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
