Pursuant to Decree No. 188/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 27, 2007 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Decree No. 22/2010/NĐ-CP dated March 9, 2010 of the Government amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decree No. 188/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 27, 2007 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health
Pursuant to Decision No. 3486/2001/QĐ-BYT dated August 13, 2001 of the Minister of Health promulgating the Regulations on Management of Chemicals and Insecticides, Disinfectants for Domestic and Medical Use;
Upon the proposal of the Director of the Department of Environmental Health Management,
Article 1. List of chemicals and preparations for domestic and medical use
1. The following lists are hereby issued together with this Circular:
a) Chemicals and preparations for insect control and disinfection prohibited for use in domestic and medical fields;
b) Chemicals and preparations for insect control and disinfection permitted to register but restricted in use in domestic and medical fields;
c) Chemicals and preparations for insect control and disinfection registered for use in domestic and medical fields.
2. Chemicals not listed in the categories specified in Clause 1 of this Article shall be subject to consideration by the Ministry of Health for permission or prohibition of use on a case-by-case basis.
Article 2. Implementation clause
1. This Circular takes effect from September 1, 2011.
2. Abolish Decision No. 18/2008/QĐ-BYT dated May 16, 2008 of the Minister of Health on issuing the List of Chemicals and Insecticides, Disinfectants for Domestic and Medical Use that are Permitted to Register for Use, Permitted to Register but Restricted in Use, and Prohibited from Use in Vietnam in 2008.
During the implementation of this Circular, if there are difficulties or obstacles, they should be reported to the Ministry of Health (Department of Environmental Health Management) for consideration and resolution./.
