THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION
Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents;
BASED ON Decree No. 104/2004/NĐ-CP dated March 23, 2004 of the Government on the Official Gazette of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2003/ND-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
Considering the proposal of the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Transport,
DECISION:
Article 1. Amend Clause 1, Article 9 of Decision No. 70/2005/QD-BGTVT dated December 16, 2005 of the Minister of Transport on the organization, functions, tasks, and powers of the Maritime Inspectorate, as follows:
Previously printed as: "This Decision shall take effect from January 1, 2006 and replace Decision No. 04/2005/QD-BGTVT dated January 4, 2005 of the Minister of Transport on the functions, tasks, powers, and organization of the Inspectorate of the Vietnam Maritime Administration."
Amend to read as follows: "This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace Decision No. 04/2005/QD-BGTVT dated January 4, 2005 of the Minister of Transport on the functions, tasks, powers, and organization of the Inspectorate of the Vietnam Maritime Administration."
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. The Chief of the Office, the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, and the Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
