MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT
- Based on the Ordinance on Product Quality dated December 27, 1990; - Based on the Decree No. 22/CP dated May 22, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment;
- Based on the Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Government stipulating the division of responsibilities for State management of product quality;
- After consultation with the Ministry of Commerce;
- At the proposal of the Director General of the National Standard Measurement and Quality Control Administration;

Article 1: Issuing the "List of Goods for State Quality Inspection upon Import and Export in 1997".
Article 2: Organizations and individuals involved in importing and exporting goods listed in Article 1 and state inspection agencies for the quality of exported and imported goods shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
Article 3: The National Standard Measurement and Quality Control Administration and relevant state agencies shall organize, guide, and supervise the implementation of this Decision.
