Decision No. 263/2005/QĐ-TTg on approving the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned agricultural and forestry farms under the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province

Regarding the approval of the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned agricultural and forestry farms under the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 170/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2004 on the restructuring, renovation, and development of state-owned farms;

Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned forest enterprises;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province,

DECISION:

Article 1. Approve the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned agricultural and forestry farms directly under the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province as follows:

1. Maintain and continue to consolidate the following agricultural farms:

- Phong Hai Agricultural Farm,

- Thanh Binh Agricultural Farm.

2. Reorganize the following forestry farms into forestry companies:

- Van Ban Forestry Farm,

- Bao Yen Forestry Farm.

Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province:

1. Direct the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned agricultural and forestry farms as stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision.

2. Issue decisions to adjust the area and boundaries of land allocated to agricultural farms and forestry companies in accordance with the local agricultural and forestry development plans and the development plans of each agricultural and forestry farm as proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Circular No. 2507/BNN-ĐMDN dated October 3, 2005.

Article 3. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and related agencies shall cooperate with the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province in implementing this Plan.

Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province and the heads of related agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
