Approving the Charter on organization and operation

of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Law on State-Owned Enterprises dated November 26, 2003;

Pursuant to the Enterprise Law dated November 29, 2005;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 153/2004/NĐ-CP dated August 9, 2004 on the organization and management of state-owned corporations and the transformation of state-owned corporations and independent state-owned companies into a holding company - subsidiary model;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 132/2005/NĐ-CP dated October 20, 2005 on the implementation of rights and obligations of the state owner towards state-owned enterprises and the Government Decree No. 86/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 21, 2006 amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Government Decree No. 132/2005/NĐ-CP;

Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group.

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. Approves the Charter on organization and operation of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group.

Article 2The contents in the Charter that differ from the provisions in Decision No. 58/2005/QĐ-TTg dated March 23, 2005 of the Prime Minister approving the pilot project for the formation of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group and Decision No. 06/2006/QĐ-TTg dated January 9, 2006 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Parent Company - Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group shall be implemented according to the Charter issued together with this Decision.

Article 3This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 4The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees under the central government, and the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
