DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
APPROVING THE PROJECT ON REORGANIZING AND MODERNIZING STATE FOREST ENTERPRISES UNDER THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF DIEN BIEN PROVINCE
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned forest enterprises;
CONSIDERING the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien Province,
DECISION:
Article 1. APPROVES the project on reorganizing and modernizing state forest enterprises under the People's Committee of Dien Bien Province as follows:
TRANSFORM the following forest enterprises into Forest Management Boards:
- DIEN BIEN FOREST ENTERPRISE;
- TU WEEK GIAC FOREST ENTERPRISE;
- DIEN BIEN SPECIALTY FOREST ENTERPRISE.
Article 2. CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF DIEN BIEN PROVINCE:
1. Direct the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned forest enterprises as stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision.
2. DECIDES to adjust the area and boundaries of land types allocated to the Forest Protection Management Boards in accordance with the local forestry development plan and relevant laws on land, protection, and development of forests.
Article 3. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and other related ministries shall cooperate with the People's Committee of Dien Bien Province in implementing this project.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall be responsible for monitoring the implementation of this Decision.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF DIEN BIEN PROVINCE and heads of related agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
