This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Regarding the issuance of Industry Standards
THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Pursuant to the Ordinance on Quality of Goods dated December 24, 1999;
Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications;
Pursuant to Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government stipulating state management over product and commodity quality;
At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. ISSUED WITH THIS DECISION ARE THE FOLLOWING 05 INDUSTRY STANDARDS:
1. MOBILE GROUND RADIO EQUIPMENT WITH SEPARATE ANTENNA FOR DATA TRANSMISSION (AND VOICE) - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, CODE TCN 68-229: 2005;
2. MOBILE GROUND RADIO EQUIPMENT WITH SEPARATE ANTENNA PRIMARILY FOR ANALOGUE VOICE - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, CODE TCN 68-230: 2005;
3. MOBILE GROUND RADIO EQUIPMENT WITH INTEGRATED ANTENNA FOR DATA TRANSMISSION (AND VOICE) - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, CODE TCN 68-231: 2005;
4. MOBILE GROUND RADIO EQUIPMENT WITH INTEGRATED ANTENNA PRIMARILY FOR ANALOGUE VOICE - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, CODE TCN 68-232: 2005;
5. CDMA 2000 1X MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION BASE STATION EQUIPMENT - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, CODE TCN 68-233: 2005.
Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 (FIFTEEN) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE OFFICE, DIRECTOR OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT, HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND UNITS UNDER THE POST AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS MINISTRY, AND RELATED ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
