CIRCULAR
Regulations on Economic and Technical Characteristics of Ship Inspection Services
Pursuant to the Price Law on June 19, 2023;
Pursuant to the Maritime Code of Vietnam dated November 25, 2015;
Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2024/NĐ-CP dated July 10, 2024 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Price Law;
Pursuant to Decree No. 33/2025/NĐ-CP dated February 25, 2025 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science, Technology, Environment, and Construction Materials and the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration;
The Minister of Construction issues this Circular to regulate the economic and technical characteristics of ship inspection services.
Article 1. Scope of Regulation and Applicability
1. This Circular stipulates the economic and technical characteristics of ship inspection services (excluding ships for national defense, security purposes, and fishing vessels) within the scope of transportation vehicle inspection services.
2. This Circular applies to agencies, organizations, and individuals related to ship inspection services.
Article 2. Economic and Technical Characteristics of Ship Inspection Services
The economic and technical characteristics of ship inspection services specified in the Appendix attached hereto.
Article 3. Effectiveness
This Circular takes effect from December 1, 2025./.
