DECISION
Regarding the establishment of Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated December 2, 1998;
Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 approving the planning of the network of universities and colleges for the period 2001-2010;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at Circular No. 9145/TCCB dated October 6, 2005 regarding the establishment of Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports,
DECISION:
Article 1. Establishing Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports based on Central Physical Education College No. 2.
Article 2. Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports is a higher education institution under the Ministry of Education and Training; the university has legal personality, its own seal, and separate accounts.
Article 3. Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports operates according to the Charter of Universities issued together with Decision No. 153/2003/QĐ-TTg dated July 30, 2003 of the Prime Minister.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and centrally governed city People's Committees, and the Rector of Central Physical Education College No. 2 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
